The Toronto Birth Centre encourages doulas, childbirth educators, lactation consultants, and other health care providers to operate their own independent practice out of our clinic or classroom space.
If you are an educator, health practitioner, or community member interested in hosting your event or course at the TBC, please see the Renting at the TBC page for more information about rates and applications.

Appointments are conducted at the Toronto Birth Centre (TBC). The LARC clinic is currently providing services for individuals who belong to prioritized populations that face barriers to healthcare access. A midwife referral is required for an appointment.

The TBC Immunization Clinic is for midwifery clients with significant barriers to healthcare access. Midwife referrals are still required for all clients in advance, but appointment times will not be assigned. Link to referral form

We’re inviting Indigenous community members in Toronto to share ideas for Indigenous Seasonal programming at the Toronto Birth Centre that will guide and strengthen relevant future offerings for expecting parents and families. April 19: Boboto Care - Planning for Postpartum: Preparing for Life after Birth

Are you preparing for life after your baby arrives? Whether you’re a parent, grandparent, adoptive parent, foster parent, or caregiver, our Planning for Postpartum class will give you the confidence, skills, and knowledge to navigate the weeks and months after birth with support and ease.
What You’ll Learn
- Planning and organizing postpartum support for yourself and your family
- Understanding physical and emotional recovery after birth
- Managing newborn care alongside self-care
